M y   S t o r y

Hi my name is Molly! With a BA in Art History & a love of art and design, I have grown fond of old European designs, from its architecture, paintings, & of course the beautiful Old World style calligraphy.

I strive to create unique vintage inspired designs that stand out and have a natural feel to them, where each paper good does not look exactly like the other, but rather have an organic, handmade appearance. Today most calligraphy is penned using a digitized interface, where I use a traditional calligraphy pen & inkwell which creates natural ink strokes that are little art forms of their own.

I love to create Old World inspired paper goods in a way that harks back to the simple, yet elegant styles of Europe. The handmade paper and the artistic detail of a rendering or a floral design, all create such beauty and elegance that we rarely see today.   

It fascinates me that an article as simple as paper & ink was once something that could hold the most life changing of moments in someone’s life. Paper is something that we unfortunately throw away so quickly today, yet in the past these precious letters were carried for miles on horseback or in a horse-drawn carriage in the darkest of nights, all to convey a message.

 When I am not creating with a pen or brush, I love spending time with my amazingly supportive husband & our new baby girl Madison! I also love cooking & baking, gardening, looking for antiques, taking photos, pondering God's amazing love for us all... and of course, spending time at a quaint bakery with my family, enjoying a scrumptious pastry and coffee.
